1 onion, chopped
1 cup vegetables, carrots or peas
3 big potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
1 stick butter, divided into halves
.5 cup beef broth

salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Peel and quarter the potatoes, boil until tender. (about) 20 minutes
While the potatoes are cooking, melt half stick of the butter in a large frying pan.
Saute the onions in butter until transparent. If you are adding vegetables, add them according to cooking time. Put any carrots in with the onions. Add peas at the end of the cooking of the onions.
Add ground beef and saute until no longer pink. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add worcestershire sauce. Add half a cup of beef broth and cook over low heat for 10 minutes uncovered, adding more beef broth as necessary to keep moist.
Mash the potatoes in bowl with the remaining butter, season to taste.
Place sauteed beef and vegetables in baking dish. Add creamed corn. Distribute mashed potatoes on top. Rough up with a fork so that there that will brown nicely.
