Welcome to my blog! I am not a chef but I definitely want to learn to cook. I search the web for recipes I want to prepare and I compile it here for my reference. I have learned that cooking takes time and patience but is a great source of joy especially when your loved ones enjoy the food you prepared. Cooking your own meals is economical too...

Oven Fried Pork Chops

I love pork chops! For this recipe, you will need the following:

  • 4 pork chops
  • Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1/4 Tbsp milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup herbed breadcrumbs

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Trim the fat from the meat. I don't know but I like the fat sometimes too. So it's up to you. Pour butter into baking pan. Combine the egg, milk, salt and pepper. Dip the pork chops into the egg mixture and then coat into breadcrumbs. Bake in oven for about 10 minutes. It depends on how thick your pork chops are. I usually get the thicker slice so I bake it longer for 5 more minutes. Turn chops.

Perfect with Mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans
  • or Fettucine Alfredo with Brocolli.
